NEW YEARS CARD

Each year, the Cultural Assosiation of Metsovo in Athens share their wishes with their members and friends for the new year ahead. The assosiation's purpose is to aid the village of Metsovo when possible and promote its cultural herritage.

The design of the card carrying the wishes of fortune and prosperity references traditions, folk themes and patterns, local history as well as current issues in the village.

2021 edition

Amidst the pandemic, the New Year found members of the Cultural Association of Metsovo in Athens in lockdown, holding back on any thoughts of organising their annual meetings in person.

For this, the card features visual elements of closeness and proximity overlooking the village, wishing for carefree healthy in-person meetings among the members, as soon as is permitted.
