NEW YEARS CARD

Each year, the Cultural Assosiation of Metsovo in Athens share their wishes with their members and friends for the new year ahead. The assosiation's purpose is to aid the village of Metsovo when possible and promote its cultural herritage.

The design of the card carrying the wishes of fortune and prosperity references traditions, folk themes and patterns, local history as well as current issues in the village.

2017 edition

In 2017, the assosiation celebrates its 80 years, and for this reason, the card was designed as a black & white template of a traditional pillow for everyone to colour in, showcasing how all members are unique, although they have a common starting point. Card recipients where invited to bring in their coloured cards in the first event of the year.

No two cards were identical.
