NEW YEARS CARD

Each year, the Cultural Assosiation of Metsovo in Athens share their wishes with their members and friends for the new year ahead. The assosiation's purpose is to aid the village of Metsovo when possible and promote its cultural herritage.

The design of the card carrying the wishes of fortune and prosperity references traditions, folk themes and patterns, local history as well as current issues in the village.

2016 edition

The card turned into christmas decoration, outlining the figure of "FITIKA", the little girl, as it is found on local folk textiles.

The figure was spotted decorating numerous homes and businesses.
