NEW YEARS CARD

Each year, the Cultural Assosiation of Metsovo in Athens share their wishes with their members and friends for the new year ahead. The assosiation's purpose is to aid the village of Metsovo when possible and promote its cultural herritage.

The design of the card carrying the wishes of fortune and prosperity references traditions, folk themes and patterns, local history as well as current issues in the village.

2015 edition

A serious issue came up in the village of Metsovo in 2015. 3 bear cubs, having lost their mother, were sighted in various locations within the village and naturally, an informal debate developed in regards to handling the issue.

Nevertheless, the 3 cubs were the theme of the card, bringing the issue closer to the assosiation's members & friends who are not in direct contact with the village and contributed to the debate.
